Logging In To Office Products on the QuickBooks Server
Building Hope has installed a version of Microsoft Office on our Quickbooks Server which requires that users log in with Office 365 credentials in order to be used. This allows us to keep the most up-to-date version of the Office products on the server.
If you need to use Office on the server (for example, if you wish to export from QuickBooks to an Excel file), you must log in on any Office product using your Office 365 credentials. Most schools and businesses already provide their employees with an Office account, and if you have one, you can use your own account to log in. If you do not have Office 365, please contact Curtis Fuller and we will create an account for you under the Building Hope license.
To log in, you must:
- Open a Microsoft product (such as Excel)
- Click on the File Tab
- Click on the "Account" option in the menu
- In the top right column click on "Sign Out"
- Then click on the "Sign In" button
- Use your Office 365 credentials to log in.
Once you are logged in, the server should remember your account and you should only need to do this one time.
